CAP Foundation addresses community needs through its unique child-centred community development model, which improves the quality of life by building relationships with children, families, and communities. Key areas of focus include:
Training on self-defense for girls, peer pressure management, gender discrimination, and child protection through community awareness and youth leadership programs.
Collaboration with government agencies to enhance early childhood education and adolescent behavioural development. Programs have reached over 4,500 children across 32 schools.
Initiatives on nutrition, maternal and infant health, and anemia prevention for adolescent girls. No maternal or infant mortality was reported in the project area.
Programs promoting hygiene, safe sanitation, and open defecation-free communities in collaboration with local authorities. 30 WASH committees and improved sanitation in schools are key achievements.
Through public-private partnerships, CAP Foundation ensures sustainable progress and community ownership, empowering young leaders and addressing issues like child abuse, eve teasing, and open defecation.
